JOB DESCRIPTION:Finance Manager / Financial Controller

The role will be to tear up all current working practices/processes and whatever has gone before! Its really that simple!

The role will offer someone the opportunity to implement and develop a totally new way of working to ensure the business and its financial practices are slick and future proofed.

Here is what we need you to review and enhance: -

• The Management Accounts process - Start to finish

• Annual Statutory Accounts process - Start to finish

• Reporting - This will be relatively new experience for the business

• Financial Admin - Payroll, Credit Control, Ledgers - All need looking at.

• Systems - They are basic. There is a chance you will need to change these in the Mid-term

Things they need to be hotter on: -

• Costing

• Cashflow

• Forecasting

• Analysis

• Communicating to the Directors

Well, we're open to a Part Qualified Accountant who are looking to follow a career in managing SME businesses. You will receive a mentor to help you pass through your exams.

We're also happy for Qualified Accountants who want a nice challenge/role, with a nice business where they can get their teeth stuck into something interesting and help us on our journey.

It goes without saying experience across the usual qualifications are desirable - CIMA, ACCA or ACA

You will have an assistant or 2 to help you, but you will need to be hands-on!

Its is more than likely you will have previously worked as a Finance Manager, Financial Controller, Management Accountant, Accountant, Head of Finance in an SME environment.
