Our client is an established and reputable company within their industry. With their clients needs and demands increasing, they are on the look out to expand their team and recruit an Accounts Assistant on a full time, permanent basis for their offices in Peterborough.

Reporting directly into the Finance Manager, your duties will include assisting a wide range of clients in Technical Accounting, Tax and Financial Management. In return for your work, you will also be offered a fully supported and structured training programme towards your AAT, ACA or ACCA depending on your current scenario

As the successful Accounts Assistant, your duties will include:
-Inputting financial information into the accounting software
-Undertaking detailed analysis and reconciliation procedures
-Managing client accounts
-Identifying tax adjustments from accounts production
-Preparing VAT Returns and assisting with client audits when applicable

A full, detailed job spec is available. The desired candidates for this role will have the following:
-Studying towards their AAT, ACA or ACCA qualifications. Candidates who are AAT Qualified and not looking to continue studying, are also considered
-1-2 years' experience working within an Accountancy Practice
-Knowledge and understanding of Accounting Principles
-Good communication skills
