COMPANY DESCRIPTION, PROFILE AND SCOPE OF ROLE:

Reporting to the FC for all financial and accounting activities, the successful candidate will be directly responsible for the efforts and results of the financial department and the effective management and supervision of the Finance Team members.
KEY DUTIES &
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Monthly P&L account
* P&L budgeting and forecasting
* Manage & Assist preparation of annual budgets
* Performance analysis metrics, e.g. variances and production delays
* Ownership / review of relevant balance sheet accounts
* Fixed assets & capital expenditure
* Line manager for Accounts Assistants
* Management Accounts: Manage & Assist preparation of monthly management accounts and Actual/Budget variance analysis
* Statutory Accounts: Assist with preparation of annual statutory accounts and Manage external audit of statutory accounts
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:
* Finance / Accounts Degree CIMA / ICAEW / ACCA qualified
* Industry experience (esp. pharma) beneficial
* SAP experience beneficial
* Management experience
* Outstanding mathematical skills
* Deadline/completion orientated with strong planning & organisation skills, and attention to detail
* Influencing skills
* Good verbal, written communication and presentation skills
* Good leadership/mentoring/influencing and coaching skills
* Analytical & IT skills
