We are seeking an ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT to join a well-established import and distribution business supplying the UK engineering & construction markets from their UK Warehousing facility in Ipswich. In return a starting salary in the region of £18,000 - 21,000 is offered depending on experience, with realistic opportunity for personal and career development.
As an ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT within a dedicated finance team, you will be involved in:
* Credit Control
* Purchase & Sales Ledgers
* Processing invoices and purchase orders
* Bank reconciliations
* Maintaining accurate financial records
* Liaising with customers & key accounts
* Petty cash & expenses
To be the successful ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT you should have the following skills and experience:
* Broad based accounts experience
* Working within an inhouse Finance or Accountancy team
* Computer literate - SAGE, SAP or similar software
* Welcoming & confident telephone manner
* Proactive , accurate with an eye for detail
* Problem solver
This position will be equally appropriate to a less experience ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT or Junior Accountant who has recently gained qualifications and is seeking to develop their experience within an Industry setting OR ALTERNATIVELEY a more experience & established ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT seeking a busy, friendly and stable business where their skills & knowledge will be appreciated.
