A crucial role at a top tier bank, driving the Pricing strategy for one of the UK's largest lending books. The role is a hybrid of Pricing Analytics and Strategy, Commercial modelling and Credit Risk Analytics.

• Forecast the impact of pricing changes on portfolio profitability and performance
• Monitor the performance of changes to the pricing strategy, tracking it's impact on PnL
• Optimise predictive models using SQL, Python, SAS
• Collaborating with other teams and departments to develop the pricing strategy
• Development of financial models using Excel (or VBA) to forecast cash-flows
• Using data to gain insights into the performance of the portfolio, monitor trends etc
• Contribute to the development of new and enhanced pricing capabilities for product development

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Ideal candidate will have experience in Pricing Analysis and working on secured lending
• Experience working in an analytical role within consumer lending is required
• Experience driving pricing, credit or commercial strategy within consumer finance
• Experience developing financial models and forecasting portfolio performance is a big plus
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience using SAS or Pythin preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to challenge and be challenged by stakeholders
