My client is working with me exclusively, they are looking for a client accountant , this is a new role within a small team in which the candidate would be expected to bring expertise and experience, to drive process improvement.

This is a FULL TIME office based role.

• Delivery of all client reporting obligations which will include monthly reconciliations of individual client accounts
• Design and implementation of real time reconciliation systems between various software billing platforms and Sage 200 to ensure data integrity is maintained
• Management of all customer payment streams including direct debit system and Pay as You Go (PAYG) for collecting customer payments and allocating to client accounts
• Development of structured procedures, process maps and cross-department "swim lanes"
• Ongoing identification and delivery of process improvements
• Drive the evolution of monthly client reporting towards an automated, self-service model
• Overseeing the monthly process to return client funds, ensuring adequate safeguards and controls are maintained
• To assist the billing team in investigating and resolving ad-hoc queries as they arise in respect of client billing and cash management
• Liaise directly with clients on complex accounting issues
• Work closely with key stakeholders across the business as a technical finance exper

You must be

• Partially CIMA or ACCA qualified
• Working knowledge of SQL databases and SQL management studio
• Data transformation technologies and techniques (specifically Power Query/Power BI)
• Proven track record of working with large volumes of data and developing scalable reporting and analysis solutions
