Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting banking operations in terms of real estate, construction PM, office spaces, health& safety for global markets
- Produce senior management Op Risk reporting
- Assist in identifying and escalating new and potential risks, tracking remediation through to completion
- Continuous improvement of Controls management framework
- Contribute and support ongoing risk projects
- Support documentation and analysis of Op Risk incidents and support all required root cause analysis, lessons learned and read across opportunities
- Various other ad hoc Op Risk and control related activities
Essentials Skills and Qualifications:
- Operational Risk experience in banking or related field considered an asset
- Fluent English (essential); exhibit effective verbal and written communication skills in English with the ability to effectively interact with and present to all stakeholders, including senior management,
- Over 3 years of professional experience in a corporate environment
- Experience in day-to-day cooperation with demanding stakeholders
- Experience in supporting risk frameworks and committees
- Evidence of building and developing relationships internally and externally of the department
- Ability to work as part of a global organization and communicate at all levels
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to coordinate across multiple functions and time zones
- Advanced technical skills in Excel, VBA considered an asset
