Our client, based in Dereham, are looking for an Accounts Payable Assistant to join their Accounts Payable team.

Working days are Monday - Friday, 39 hours a week. This is a permanent position.

This role reports to the Accounts Payable Manager. You will be responsible for performing all general accounts payable activities in an accurate and timely manner.

Key tasks and responsibilities include (not limited to):

Invoice Processing and Support:

Complete PO and invoice matching

Process invoices

Prepare and process payments

Process adjustments

Process expense reimbursement

Process special

Complex invoices or exceptions

Vendor Relations:

Respond to vendor inquiries, researching payments and resolving problems; resolve vendor disputes.

Purchasing Support:

Business point of contact to answer questions

Alert purchasing and AP Manager of problems with suppliers

Procurement (credit) card administration

Sustain vendor consolidation efforts



As the Accounts Payable Assistant, you will have experience in working in Accounts Payable, with strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills and excellent customer service skills.

The successful candidate will be a highly motived and improvement focussed individual, who possesses excellent planning & organisation, customer service, operational, communication and interpersonal skills.
