Public Practice Specialists Taylor Rose Recruitment are working with a leading and highly progressive firm of Accountants in Reading, who are seeking a Business Services or Accounts Manager to join their team.
The successful individual will ideally be ACA or ACCA qualified and responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of clients from an array of sectors providing accounts & tax services and reviewing the work of junior staff. Part time/ flexible working hours will be considered.
There will be regular client contact, the opportunity to work closely with the Partners and the successful individual may be entrusted to deputise when needed so strong communication skills and the ability to build strong client relationships is required.
Salary is dependent on experience and our client is offering an excellent remuneration and benefits package for the right individual.

Responsibilities:
Managing all aspects of the client portfolio, acting as the main point of contact
Preparation and review of statutory accounts
Preparation and review of management accounts
Review of tax compliance
Training junior staff and reviewing their work
Client meetings
Assisting with other ad hoc assignments
Training clients on accountancy software
Business development duties
Requirements:
ACA/ ACCA Qualified
A strong background in accountancy practice
Experience of managing a client portfolio and reviewing the work of junior staff.
Good communication skills
