Penderels Trust has an opportunity for someone to join our Birmingham team. You will be responsible for managing the financial accounts of our customers. The successful candidate will be joining a leading not-for-profit organisation that provides independent living services to people with disabilities and health care needs nationwide.



Location:
Birmingham B11 2AA. Home working arrangements are currently in place.

Salary:
£18,035 per annum, pro rata to £12,186.

Hours: 25 hours per week.

Days / Times: Monday to Friday. Working times open to discussion.

Closing date: Monday 2nd November 2020.

Interview date: Thursday 12th November 2020. Due to the ongoing Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic, interviews will be taking place via video conferencing software. Further details will be discussed with applicants who are shortlisted for our screening telephone call process.

The Role - Your main duties will include:

    Monitoring and updating customer account information and reconciling information with finance reportsProcessing timesheets, recording annual leave and bank holiday rates Processing invoices for services provided to the customerInputting new customer information for payroll servicesIdentifying and resolving queries effectively Calculating and processing funds that need to be returned to local authority or other funding bodies and liaise with their finance teams as appropriate
Skills, Experience and Qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following attributes:

    Experience of working in a finance or accounting environmentAbility to input and maintain accurate data recordsAbility to manage workload effectivelyGood working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (including Word, Excel and Outlook)Excellent telephone mannerAbility to work as part of a team and on own initiativeAbility to work flexibly and to deadlines Hold minimum GCSE Grade '4' or equivalent in English and Maths. A qualification in bookkeeping or accounting would be desirable.
