Project Finance Analyst

Would you like the opportunity for high level exposure within a FTSE 100 company? We currently have a vacancy for a Project Finance Analyst at our site in Barrow-In-Furness.

As a Project Finance Analyst, you will be working within Project Finance, the role will expand to working with multiple programmes to consolidate best practice against existing and new programmes.

This role will provide you with the opportunity to work with a wide range of finance stakeholders, as well as being able to build on your finance skills and progress your career within the wider BAE Systems business.

Your main responsibilities as a Project Finance Analyst will involve:

Compiling monthly reconciliations

Processing Cost Transfers

Complete annual Cost Statements in line with contractual requirements.

Liaising closely with the MoD through the annual cost reviews to understand issues & reach a timely conclusion

Providing feedback to the wider business to ensure continual understanding of processes

Managing In Year Cash files to support annual & monthly submissions to the MoD, as well as internal support for BAE targets for Sales & Cash

Being an integral part of Finance Governance, including the review of Process Instructions

Reviewing and establishing best working practice across programmes

Being involved in Ad hoc business queries to support projects, improvements & any issues that arise

Your skills and qualifications as a Project Finance Analyst:

Relevant finance experience or suitable degree

Part qualified in ACA / CIMA / ACCA

MS office Excel

Stakeholder presentation experience

Experience of working in a partnering capacity with non-financial stakeholders

Finance reporting background would be desirable
