A large retail company is looking for a fluent German speaking Credit Controller to join their team on a year's Maternity Cover.

A well-established and growing retail company is looking for a German speaking Credit Controller to join their Finance team for a year's Maternity cover. The purpose of the role is to facilitate the timely collection of the receivables ledger for our customers and to minimize the aged debt, building strong relationships with internal an external clients.

Responsibilities of the Credit Controller

• Maintaining collections accounts current and collecting assigned past due accounts.
• Evaluates customer's credit file and contacts their other creditors in order to determine current trends and payment patterns.
• Recommends to the manager that accounts be closed, credit limit reduced or extended, or collection attempted, based on payment history and purchase activity of the customer.
• Manage back and across the business in the UK and Europe, and will have a good political understanding, strong negotiating skills and a high level of patience and professionalism.

Requirements of the Credit Controller

• Previous experience in Credit Control
• Fluent German speaker
• Experience in the Retail industry a bonus
• Profficient in Microsoft Excel
• Excellent communicator
