Bruntingthorpe is home to an array of automotive activities and event venues. The 670-acre site encompasses, Bruntingthorpe Proving Ground, Bruntingthorpe Events, B.I.A.S and Bruntingthorpe Aviation and offers a range of services including corporate track days, product launches and vehicle testing.

The business turns over c£53M and the majority of their revenue comes from their vehicle de-fleeting business, where they work with many of the major automotive businesses including Mercedes-Benz, Jaguar Land Rover and Volkswagen.

The business has seen strong growth in the past 5 years, growing from £13M to where they are today, with aspirations to grow to £100M in the next 5 years.

Role:

This Finance Manager role requires a hands on management accountant with a background in process improvement and embedding standard procedures and controls. You will also require a strong commercial acumen and the ability to interpret financial information for non finance stakeholders and provide true partnering services to the operational arm of the business.

You will be tasked with;

Embedding and driving a process for the production of month-end management accounts including providing your review and commentary on areas of variance to plan etc.Monthly Balance Sheet reporting with review of balance sheet reconciliations.Commercial Financial Reporting - Sales Reporting, ad hoc commercial information etc.Working with the wider business to produce high quality budgets and forecasts.Drive a cost management agenda across the business, working proactively to challenge and manage all cost areas.Treasury and Cash flow management/reporting.Working collaboratively with the Senior Management Team to support and drive key strategic decisions.Be the key point of contact for a range of external partners/stakeholders including banking, auditors, etc.Continuous improvement of all finance activities - utilising systems/reporting skills to make the processes more efficient and automated. Skills:

You will be a Qualified Accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) with a strong background in management accounting.You will be highly IT literate with the ability to disseminate large volumes of data, Excel skills up to Pivots, Look Ups, If Functions are essential.Previous ERP experience is essential, implementation/upgrade experience in new accounting systems would be advantageous. It would be ideal to have experience of development and deployment of new systems including data mapping and driving data integrity. You will require excellent time management and planning skills, having the flexibility to deal with multiple demands from a range of stakeholders, both finance and non-finance.STRICTLY NO AGENCIES PLEASE
