Accountant

Due to continued growth, a new opportunity has become available for an Accountant to join a well known local independent firm in Inverness. This is a permanent role within an established practice in Inverness with an excellent reputation and working environment. If you are an Accountant with practice experience looking to take the next step in your career this role could be for you, there are good opportunities for progression within the firm in the longer term coupled with an attractive salary and benefits package on offer.



Responsibilities:


* Working with Sole traders, partnerships, and Limited companies
* Accounts production for clients
* Produce VAT returns
* Produce tax returns
* Provide relevant advice to clients and address queries for both accounts and tax
* Support junior members of the team

Requirements:

* ACCA or CA qualified
* Current or recent Practice experience is essential
* Experience of liaising directly with clients
* Experience of working with a varied client portfolio
