Audit Assistant Manager

- plan and deliver audit engagements - owner managed businesses across a wide variety of sectors, including groups and consolidated accounts
- split of work is 70% audit; 30% accounts, tax and advisory
- use of risk based approach to identify potential issues, and develop audit work programmes
- complete audit testing on site at clients' premises
- apply professional scepticism and judgment to audit work
- ability to identify, research and analyse accounting/audit issues and propose solutions
- prepare statutory accounts, draft tax computations, and consolidations
- having the opportunity to manage small teams
- work closely with the Partners and Managers
- management of own work and assignments to deadlines and within budget
- maintain audit quality standards as required by Audit Regulations and TC internal policies
- pro-active dedication to professional growth through training and experience opportunities
- deliver excellent client service
- support the growth of the London office
Knowledge & Experience:
- minimum of 2/3 years PQE with relevant practice experience
- significant client facing audit experience, including group audits
- excellent technical accounting knowledge of UK GAAP and FRS 102
- experience of the IFRS desirable
- experience of using audit software and statutory accounts software
- excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office with intermediate excel skills as a minimum.
- highly personable with excellent communication skills
- positive 'can do' attitude
- must have own car and full driving licence.
