Our client is a global, leading manufacturer of industrial coatings (protective, marine, powder coatings). Company has more than 30 production facilities and is represented in 100 countries around the world. Due to continued growth of the business in Poland we are now looking for an experienced finance professional for the challenging role of:
Finance ManagerMiejsce pracy: Gdańsk

Responsibilities:
  • Overall responsibility for finance and accounting at the local sales branch in Poland
  • Acting as a business partner to the local General Manager and Management Team by providing support, information and financial advice
  • Cooperating and managing the work of the Financial Specialist (Independent Accountant)
  • Supporting continuous improvement in the company through timely, accurate and insightful financial and business analysis
  • Preparing financial models and “what if” scenarios
  • Ensuring that the company's operation complies with country finance and taxation regulations and companies corporate finance and treasury policies
  • Direct reporting to the local General Manager and Regional Finance Director at HQ (in English)
  • Educating the management team to use key financial indicators to drive and support business decisions
  • Managing and coordinating the financial resources of the company to ensure its assets and liabilities are accurately controlled
  • Managing the preparation of monthly, tertiary and annual budget reports by analyzing and interpreting financial data
  • Cooperating with external auditors and lawyers to ensure the company documents, registration are in line with legal requirements
  • Cooperating with local HR Manager

Requirements:
  • Higher education in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or similar field
  • 7-9 years of relevant financial experience preferably in an international company
  • Professional expertise on finance, accounting, taxation and other related legislation
  • Leadership capabilities
  • Organizational and planning capabilities
  • Fluent English (both written and spoken) is a must
  • Computer literacy in MS Office / Office 365
  • High level of responsibility, multi-skilled and good team player
  • An analytical and problem-solving mind
  • Experience in working within an international environment
