International Group of Companies manufacturing products for the Sports, Fashion and Events industry is currently looking to recruit an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

The company has offices and a production facility within an easy commute from the Szczecin area. Additional locations include The Netherlands and the UK

Due to phenomenal growth over the past 3 years, this important and exciting position has been created.

The correct candidate will play an important role in shaping the business alongside the Chairman and CEO of this International Group of Companies, and as we are a Sales driven organisation you will also liaise on a regular basis with our European Sales Manager. This is an all-inclusive role and requires a ‘hands on' approach within the organisation.

The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to become a stakeholder within the organisation with additional financial rewards.

Overview:

Oversee the company's financial, administrative, and risk management factors as the chief financial officer. Work alongside other members of the executive management team to determine an overall direction for the company. Keep close watch on the company's budget and expenses and investigate to get to the root of any discrepancies. Review detailed financial reports and make recommendations based on them. As one of the most influential persons within our structure, you must be able to ensure a smooth and efficient operational environment within the daily practices of the company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop tax and financial strategies including overseeing budgeting processes.
  • Develop and analyse metrics that showcase the company's performance.
  • Oversee and run important areas, such as accounting, human resources (BHP), treasury, tax, and legal departments.
  • Maintain relationships with key members of each team within the company.
  • Examine employee benefits packages and look for cost-effective benefits solutions.
  • Communicate with third parties that perform outsourced company functions, such as, accountants, suppliers etc.
  • Make reports that deal with potential risks and solutions as well as the company's overall financial state and present those reports to the executive board.
  • Ensure the company remains in line with local, state, and federal tax regulations including any employee requirements.
  • Look at insurance options and choose the ones that are best for the company.
  • Oversee operations management, and be responsible for the development, design, operation, and improvement of the systems that create and deliver the company's products.
  • Ensure that business operations are efficient and effective and that the proper management of resources, distribution of goods and services to customers is carried out to the highest level.
  • Build a strong network of suitable suppliers with the CEO and European Sales Manager to expand the companies range of products in the most economical way.

Accountabilities:
  • Direct and control all internal operational employees to ensure that they are appropriately motivated and trained and carry out their responsibilities to the required standard.
  • Develop and implement all necessary policies and procedures to facilitate management control and to ensure that all internal operations achieve their business objectives.
  • Develop and control all operational budgets to ensure that the company has all the resources required to meet its objectives within agreed financial parameters and to maintain the financial strength of the company.
  • Develop and maintain all necessary systems and procedures to ensure that company operations comply with all legal requirements and meet agreed operational standards.
  • Regularly review operations to ensure that these meet required standards and recommend changes where necessary.
  • Develop and maintain the organisation's structure and processes.
  • Maintain an effective working relationship with all directors to ensure that there is effective co-ordination of all company activities in support of corporate objectives.
  • Act as the company's main adviser on all issues relating to operational functions and keep abreast of latest developments to ensure that the Company maintains its competitive position. This includes maximising opportunities that occur from online orders.

Knowledge skills and experience required

The job requires:
  • 5-10 Years of Management Experience.
  • Strong Written and Oral Communication Skills.
  • Relationship building, Adaptability, Multitasking and Detail Orientated.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Strong focus.
  • Online accounting systems knowledge.
  • Integrity and Punctuality.
  • A positive ‘must do' attitude with a dedication to complete all work (and not have a ‘9 to 5' attitude).
  • Fluent in English and Polish.
  • A first-class degree or equivalent and relevant professional qualifications.
  • Significant experience of at least five years in a manufacturing / textile industry.
  • Significant managerial experience.
  • Excellent inter-personal and negotiating skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills, time management and decision-making.
  • Proficient in common computer programs, including Google G-Suite.
  • Ability to adopt a ‘hands on' attitude when required.

Preferable skills:
  • It would be preferable if you have a fluency in German, Dutch, French or other major European languages.
  • Technical knowledge of modern manufacturing / textile machinery.
  • Extensive experience of at least five years in operations management.
  • Experience in online sales processes.
  • Driving licence.

Renumeration: An excellent salary and financial package is available to the correct candidate based on experience
