Search consultancy are currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join an instantly recognisable, professional Accountancy Practice based in Perth on a permanent basis.

The idea candidate will have prior experience working within an Accountancy Practice, specifically with the preparation of statutory accounts for limited companies, partnerships and sole traders, preparing accounts for small charities and VAT returns.

Duties include:

* Assisting the management team in preparing annual accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
* Preparation of management accounts
* Bookkeeping
* Preparation of VAT returns
* Preparation of corporate and personal tax returns
* General office and administrative duties

Knowledge of accounting packages such as Xero, Sage Line 50 and IRIS and also being comfortable with Microsoft word and excel would be useful but is not essential.
