The Finance team is located from our London and Birmingham offices and provides the full range of finance, accounting and budgeting services across the partnership. Barnett Waddingham is committed to providing the best possible service to all of its clients and to achieve this service we need talented, motivated and enthusiastic people.

The role

Due to our rapid rate of expansion, the business is looking to recruit a senior position within the finance team. The role will primarily be that of a financial analyst but will inevitably get involved with all areas of the finance function. The requirement for financial information and analysis increases year on year and this role will be working closely with senior members of the business to help them understand trends, costs and forecasts for their department.

This role can be based in either our Birmingham or London offices.

The Person

As you will be working with Partners and other senior leaders in the business, we will expect candidates to be able to demonstrate substantial experience working at this level delivering value-added analysis and management information.

We are looking for a fully qualified accountant with at least 4 to 5 year's post-qualification experience as either a CA or CIMA accountant.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing the role and establishing policies and procedures within the analysis function so we are seeking candidates who are self-motivated and able to work independently while driving the function forward.

Responsibilities will include evaluating financial performance, providing analysis of trends and forecasts and recommending actions for optimisation, analysing financial data and creating financial models to drive senior decision-making. The successful candidate will also need to have strong consultancy skills to advise, challenge and support the senior leaders to ensure the best outcomes for the business.
