Service Care Solutions are currently working on behalf of Hertfordshire-based local authority who are seeking an experience Finance Business Partner to join their team on a 3 months contract. Please note, the role is likely to be fully remote working for the duration of the contract.

ROLE:Finance Business Partner


LOCATION:
Hertfordshire
RATE:£22 to £24 per hour
CONTRACT:3 months, 37 hours per week

The Role

*To support the local authority with general finance related matters including budget setting and budget monitoring
*To prepare the annual accounts along with financial advice and analysis to ensure robust financial management
*To generally support the Resources, Environment and Cultural Services areas
*To operate closure of accounts and provision of support for service managers

The Person

*A fully qualified or part-qualified accountant actively studying towards full qualification
*Experience of contributing to the closure of accounts process for a multi-disciplinary organisation
*Previous working experience within a local authority is essential
*Strong and up to date knowledge of accounting principles, regulations and practices
