Finance Business Partner role in Central Reading

My client is a financial services company based in Reading town centre with easy access to public transport links. They are looking for a qualified and experience Finance Business Partner to join their growing team.

Your new role

• Business partnering - supporting senior leaders within the business in analysing and understanding divisional and group financial performance
• Compilation of information for financial statements
• Annual budgeting and regular re-forecasting exercises
• Month-end reporting process. Including journals, P&L reports, variance analysis
• KPI analysis
• Proactively seek and implement improvements to financial processes
• Ad-hoc financial project work

What you'll need to succeed

• ACCA/CIMA or equivalent qualification
• Intermediate Excel skills; capable of using Pivot Tables, SUMIFS, Vlookups and aware of potential pitfalls with using these features
• Interpersonal and communication skills to be able to interact with senior business management
• Self-starter who can demonstrate the ability to develop and improve processes
• Ability to apply professional scepticism and have a questioning mind
• Positive, proactive, enthusiastic and confident
• Attention to detail with a sense of responsibility and ownership
• A team player with an ability to work independently and under pressure
