Accounts & Audit Senior

Interaction Accountancy & Finance are delighted to be supporting this well-established firm of chartered accountants who are now in the market to recruit a qualified (ACA/ACCA) Accounts & Audit Senior on a full-time permanent basis.

Role Requirements -

The role will be split between Accounts (80%) and Audit (20%) responsibilities and you will take ownership for a diverse portfolio of clients of varying T/O


• Accounts and Audit duties will include -


• preparation of monthly management accounts


• quarterly VAT returns


• producing year-end statutory accounts


• providing advice and support to clients over the phone and on site.


• Leading client audit engagements including planning, executing, directing, and completing financial statements


• Completion of field-based audit work


• Supervision of juniors onsite as appropriate

Person Requirements -

With at least 3+ years experience as an Accounts & Audit Senior within small to medium sized chartered practices you will ideally be ACA/ACCA qualified.

You should be an adept user of various accounting software applications including Sage, XERO, Caseware and Quickbooks. Needless to say, your experience of MS Excel should be at an advanced level.

As you will be working in partnership with a loyal and established client base the need for strong communication and rapport building skills is imperative.
