Who You'll Be Working for:

What You'll be Doing Each Day:

To assist the Market Risk Manager in ensuring that all market risks in the Bank are identified, monitored, and controlled effectively, and that the Bank establishes and maintains appropriate market risk management controls, systems, policies and procedures.To provide cover for producing daily market and credit risk reports, including the daily Senior Management Report.To ensure that all market risk limit breaches are reported in accordance with policy.Accurate production and checking of monthly risk reports and management information for management committees.To provide KRIs and analytics to Operational Risk Manager for the monthly operational risk reports.Start-of-End, End-of-day and intra-day monitoring of risks in the Kondor+ and KGR systems and report to HO risk on a monthly basis.To act as the administrator of Kondor+, KGR and POMS systems.Under the guidance of the Market Risk Manager or the Head of Risk, development and implementation of new market and credit risk reports and/or analysis, including development of stress scenarios and VaR-based models.UAT and, where appropriate, implementation, of new risk reporting in RiskMetrics, Kondor+, KGR and other bank systems. Will be required to start work by 08:00 to support Treasury and ensure timely production of reports and overlap with Beijing where necessary.Fluent in both Mandarin and EnglishEducated to degree level in a numerate discipline.Knowledge of, and previous experience in, market risk or counterparty credit risk highly desirable.Knowledge of UK regulatory environment desirable.Previous experience of Kondor+, KGR and RiskMetrics systems desirable.Accounting or risk professional qualification, or degree in finance/financial mathematics desirable.Extensive knowledge and experience of using Microsoft Excel.VBA skills in the Microsoft Office environment.Job status: 6-Month Fixed Term Contract

Working hours: Will be required to start work by 08:00am.
