Salary:
£30,000 - £35,000 per annum.

Type: Permanent, Monday to Friday (3 days remote working)

Adecco London are currently recruiting for a Junior part qualified Junior Accountant to join an established tech start up based in Shoreditch. The successful candidate will be joining a friendly team in their modern offices, offering full autonomy and clear route for progression.

The candidate will be working between both our clients internal records, such as in-house book-keeping, VAT returns and Payroll bank reconciliations and preparation of management accounts, maintenance of aged creditors and debtors' reports and will be solely responsible for the in-house billing process as well working for external clients. In addition to the traditional account's role, our client wants someone with an interest in technology to continue to develop the company. Whilst the primary function will be the accounts, you will have the opportunity to work with the tech team to develop new accounts technology.

This role would suit someone that enjoys working in past paced, ever changing environment that is looking to join a company and grow with it.

Job responsibilities include but not limited to:

The completion of year-end accounts, CT600, and Corporation Tax computations
Completion of Self-Assessment Tax Returns
Management of your client's payroll and VAT, whilst meeting client's statutory deadlines, such as VAT returns, RTI Submissions, Statutory Accounts, Company and Self-Assessment Tax Returns
Liaising with HMRC and assisting your clients with tax planning, taxation and accountancy advice
Research and consulting activities related to the implementation of automation tools to help manage client portfolio.
Building relationships with clients and gain referrals from them to help grow the business whilst looking to take on and manage new clients
Advise clients in relation to IR35 and the associated implications of this legislation
Respond to client enquiries efficiently and manage the client relationship whilst building a strong rapport and developing loyalty

Personal Specification:

ATT (Preferred)
ACC (Preferred)
Highly organised, with the ability to multi-task and prioritise
Excellent communications skills - both verbal and written
Excellent attention to detail
Highly competent on Microsoft Excel
Confident & resilient
Knowledge of Iris/Xero and Quickbooks.
Able to exercise good judgement
Good initiative and able to work under own direction
