Audit & Accounts Semi-Senior - Cheshunt

A fantastic opportunity to join an established 5 Partner Practice around the Cheshunt/Hertfordshire area (currently working from home) area who are looking to add a qualified/studying Audit & Accounts Semi-Senior to their forward thinking & growing Practice. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to continue their experience within Audit & Accounts with a clear path to Senior.

Audit & Accounts Semi-Senior - Cheshunt

Our client are looking for an Audit & Acc Semi Senior to join their growing Audit and Accounts team in the North London office. This is a busy and varied role and would suit a Part-Qualified, studying or Qualified candidate who is keen to progress their career further. The client offer fantastic exposure to working with high net worth clients as well as international travel options (if wanted) to work with international clients.

Roles & Responsibilities for the Audit & Accounts Semi-Senior in Cheshunt

  • Ensure compliance with external (regulatory) and internal (audit methodology and risk management) requirements
  • Identify and understand client's needs, providing initial solutions to client challenges and subsequently executing those
  • Build strong relationships with new and established clients
  • Ensure audit files have all relevant documentation on the appropriate section; check appropriate and sufficient documentation obtained to support the opinion and documenting all conclusions
  • Analysis of accounting data from client's books and records
  • Leading Audit assignments
  • Liaising with clients and attending meetings to assess client needs
  • Helping with client queries
  • Ad-hoc arrangements, either in house or at client's premises covering any of the above areas
  • Any other ad hoc duties assigned by the Manager
  • Accounts from start to finish
  • Corporation & personal tax
  • VAT returns



Experience required for the Audit & Accounts Semi-Senior in Cheshunt

  • Studying or Qualified within ACCA/ACA
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • The ability to self-manage and work autonomously
  • Strong MS office skills, particularly Excel
  • Ideally have worked with Sage, QuickBooks or similar accounting packages
