Permanent Accounts Assistant job based in Kirkcaldy, salary £22,000 - £26,000 + 30 days holiday

Hays Accountancy & Finance are recruiting on behalf of their exclusive client for a full time permanent Accounts Assistant based in Kirkcaldy due to company growth. Salary is £22,000 - £26,000 depending on experience + 30 days annual leave, free parking & pension. This role will suit both individuals happy working at this level and individuals looking for growth & the potential for study support. This role is based working in the office with all COVID-19 safety regulations in place.

Your new role

Reporting into the Financial Supervisor, you will assist in all aspects of the accounts and payroll functions using a variety of software. You will process all accounting transactions and entries including dealing with purchase ledger, sales ledger, bank reconciliations and invoicing. You will assist in preparing management accounts, processing weekly payroll, reporting and any other ad hoc work that's required.

What you'll need to succeed

You will be an experienced Finance professional who has experience in a varied role including sales & purchase ledger & bank reconciliations. Experience in payroll is desirable but not essential. You must have excellent IT skills including Excel.
