Head of Finance

Head of Finance job Mid-Kent £50k-£65k DOE. Must be ACCA CIMA ACA CIPFA qualified with recent SORP experience

Your new company
You will working for a large established organisation based in the heart of Mid-Kent. The Head of Finance job will be based from the office and will offer a mixture of office and remote working. If changes occur you may need to work remotely everyday or work from different locations.

Your new role
You will be responsible for the day to day management of the Finance department and complete financial and management reports plus the returns to meet statutory, regulatory and executive deadlines. You will develop appropriate financial disciplines and controls which will include that best practice in financial management is adopted throughout the organisation. You will be responsible for effective project management of the development and maintenance of financial systems. You will maintain strong working relationships with senior managers within the organisation and external partners, to include the auditors and bank. You will promote and adhere to the workplace vision and values of the charity

What you'll need to succeed
You will be ACCA, CIMA, ACA or CIPFA qualified with recent experience working within a charity or not for profit organisation with excellent experience in SORP (FRS 102). You will have excellent excel skills including pivot tables and vlookups and maintained It systems. You will have management experience.

What you'll get in return
You will receive a salary in the region of £50k - £65k DOE with the addition of 28 days holiday + bank holidays and additional employee discounts. Flexible working options available.
