Delighted to be working with an accounting firm based near Newton Aycliffe who are looking to appoint an Accountant to join their team.

Best suited to those with a minimum of 2 years practice experience in an accounting firm, who are competent with year end statutory accounting for limited companies.

With an interesting portfolio of clients across a range of sectors including service, manufacturing and agriculture you will get to enjoy the variety of speaking with different businesses and gain exposure to their accounting needs.

Working on Quickbooks it would be advantageous to those who have previously used this, but not essential. Your daily role would include the preparation for first review of limited, sole trader and partnership accounts from incomplete records. You will also be responsible for the production of quarterly VAT returns and some support with bookkeeping.

Whether you are qualified y experience or working towards your AAT or ACCA/ACA exams we would love to hear from you and full support will be provided for you to continue with your learning.

The position is available on a full-time basis although 4 days would be considered. You will be required to work in the office in order to gain the necessary training with some flexibility thereafter to work from home during the current Covid pandemic if necessary, although the office does remain open at social distancing.
