Supply Chain Finance Analyst - Goole - To £42,000, Bonus & Package

An exceptional opportunity in a business which has seen substantial growth in the last few months has arisen for a dynamic CIMA/ ACCA qualified Finance Analyst. This fast growing business in East Yorkshire is recruiting due to internal promotion. You will work pro-actively within the operational management teams to drive financial understanding and budget control.

The Finance Analyst will have a significant amount of responsibility for weekly and monthly reporting and as such you will need strong Excel skills.

Responsibilities will include:

* Review and interrogate weekly flash reporting and responsible periodic financials, with KPI's, key variances and narrative

* Prepare operational budgets and forecasts for multiple cost centres, with detailed explanations of the drivers and variances re prior years

* Pro-actively analysing costs and making necessary adjustments

* Monthly business reviews with site managers and third party suppliers to drive efficiencies

* Review and analyse internal risks

* Driving process, procedure and reporting improvements

* Support, monitor and deliver various ad-hoc projects

Required Skills & Experience:

The Finance Analyst role is a fundamental part of this team and will require you to have regular contact with the wider business and external parties - this could be operational managers, internal supply chain teams or external suppliers. Therefore, a confident personality is essential as you will need to be able to speak to and meet with a range of people.

A prerequisite for the Finance Analyst is to be a finalist or qualified ACCA / CIMA with strong relevant experience.

You will have worked previously in a fast moving environment, using your astute analytical skills with attention to detail and be pragmatic in your approach.

IT literate with strong excel and ERP systems experience.
