Job Details
The successful Risk Manager will be joining in a key role within the organisation. As the company continues to grow the level of risk and the options for managing that risk become more complex. This is a first line risk role dealing with consumer risk management for the products and customer portfolio.

The client is a rapidly growing business based in Leeds that have created this role recently and are looking for a well experienced candidate to come in and shape the Risk function
Description
The successful Risk Managers responsibilities will include, but not be limited to;
- Maintaining the Risk Register
- Maintaining the Complaints Handling Log
- Provide oversight of the Collections / Payments functions within the Finance Team to ensure compliance with all Collections Policies/Procedures, as well as guidance from the FCA.
- Ensure Compliance with all policies related to risk, oversight and controls
- Conduct reviews, produce risk assessment reports from a Line 1 risk perspective
- Ensure Ts&Cs and financial promotions are compliant and in line with best practices
- Ensure all Regulatory and Risk-related training is carried out by the team
- Monitor sales practices of via the website and sales persons to ensure customers treated fairly
- Manage the compensation log for customer remediation and goodwill
- Manage any customer complaint process via FOS or the BVRLA
Profile
The successful Risk Manager will establish risk management boundaries, working policy and best practice with the customer facing teams and provide a hands-on approach to first line risk in developing team members knowledge. They should be;
- Experienced within Risk/Internal Audit
- Have worked in a regulated Industry before, ideally FCA regulated
