Your new company
One of the UK's leading advertising companies, based at Great Portland Street, are looking for an Accounts Assistant with a minimum of 6 years experience to join their team. Dealing with some of the worlds largest multinationals, the company has remained resilient throughout the lockdown period and as such are looking to add a new member to their team. The role can be either office based or working from home, whatever the candidate feels comfortable with.

Your new role
Sitting within a finance team of 4 and reporting directly to the companies Financial Controller, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the companies finances. Key responsibilities for the role will include:

  • Processing approximately 100 purchase invoices per month on Sage 200
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Setting up payment runs
  • Month-end analysis
  • Raising monthly BACS payments
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Dealing with supplier queries
  • Chasing payments
  • Credit Control
  • Ad-hoc Billing
  • Processing sales invoices
  • Other ad-hoc duties


What you'll need to succeed
The successful applicant will be a highly capable and organised individual with a minimum of 6 years experience performing the duties listed above in an SME. They will be a calm and collected individual who can act as a safe pair of hands performing the listed duties.

They must have prior experience using an accountancy software package, preferably Sage 200 or similar and must be able to perform the duties above with little need for assistance.

What you'll get in return
In return for their hard work, the successful applicant will receive a competitive salary of up to £35,000 plus a fantastic holidays, pension and benefits package. Whilst the office is now open for business, this person will have the opportunity to either work in the office or from home. Working hours are 9-5, Monday-Friday. The company will also provide the successful applicant with a company laptop to work on.
