Finance Assistant (Revenue Background)

Your new company
The UK's leading advertising firm that specialises in providing advertisements and music videos to TV & radio stations is looking for a Part-Qualified Finance Assistant with a Revenue background to join their finance team. The company has wonderful offices based near Oxford Circus station, however this role will be working from home until the new year at the earliest.

Your new role
Sat within a Revenue team of 9 people and reporting to the Credit & Billings Manager, you will perform a range of key duties in order to ensure the successful running of the companies finances. Your day to day duties will include:

• Bank reconciliations
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Revenue postings
• Rebate postings
• Liaising with European revenue teams
• Maintaining sales agreements
• Reallocation of revenue
• Ad hoc debt collection
• Billings
• Monthly reporting

What you'll need to succeed
The successful applicant will be a highly organised, driven and determined individual who has experience in Revenue and who is studying either towards their ACCA or CIMA qualification. They will have a thorough understanding of accounting principles and have the ability to manage their own workload and work to tight deadlines.

Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential. A good knowledge of Excel is also essential. All candidates must be able to perform vLookups and Pivot tables as a minimum (the first stage of the interview process will be an Excel test).

In return, the successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of up to £30,000 as well as full study support including days off for exams and study. The company offer 25 days holiday plus bank holidays. They will provide you with a laptop and a monitor to work from home with.
