Financial Controller

Your new company
A fast paced manufacturing business with a global footprint. The business has an impressive track record and has a large expansion strategy, through organic growth and acquisition. With an exciting and vibrant culture, this Manchester based business is offering 12 month contract opportunity to relocate to Italy and support integrating a recent acquisition to Group standards.

Your new role
You will start as the Interim Financial Controller, working closely with the Group CFO and other senior stake holders. You will undertake all aspects of managing financial department, responsible for reporting of a few business units within one legal entity. You will be also responsible for corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as development of internal control policies and procedures.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA or similar, QBE also considered) with previous experience within a manufacturing/production environment, knowledge of Italian accounting principles (Italian GAAP and IFRS). You will have to be prepared to relocate to Italy and be fluent in both English and Italian, in writing and speaking.
