Interaction Accountancy and Finance are representing a reputable and well- established client in the Construction sector who are actively recruiting for a Finance Business Partner in a newly created role. This is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic and driven individual, who should be someone who has already achieved success within a Management or Financial Accounting role and has made the step across into Financial Planning and Analysis. You will need to be highly analytical and naturally curious and willing to challenge the status quo whilst remaining calm under pressure
This individual will join a stable finance team to deliver a high standard of financial planning and analysis to support effective decision-making and drive business performance. They will provide financial support to assist in enabling the shaping of business strategies, facilitating the budgeting and forecasting processes.
Maximise the accuracy of the cost, WiP valuation and forecasting
Develop understanding of the different cost profiles for different jobs in order to maximise profitability
Analyse labour productivity and cost effectiveness of different options
Develop and produce reports and analysis to drive profit improvement
Investigate variances and margin erosion
Challenge the status quo and assist to drive optimal business performance by highlighting areas of improvement.
Support the development of efficient internal processes by leveraging business data to offer fresh insights and aid decision making.
Applications are welcomed from individuals with the following skills and experience:
2 years' experience within a Finance Business Partnering or Similar Role
Newly Qualified finance professional (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
Advanced System Skills: MS Excel,
Excellent communication skills with the ability to challenge situations to drive change
Strong team working and collaboration skills
