To provide Business Intelligence Analytics for SCB Cash Business across 48 Countries to help drive bank Revenue Growth initiative, by understanding the nature, behaviour and patterns of our corporate Clients in order Business to make the right economic decision.
The Role Responsibilities & Our Ideal Candidate
  • Business Intelligence Analytics and Statistical Insights invariably reaches direct high level stakeholders, these include Country, Regional and Group Product / Business Directors , Sales, Coverage RMs, Operations / CMO teams, BA's, PD, GPBS PSS, GPBS Operations.
  • Support stakeholders to collate and produce Product revenue report, Client Revenue Report, Campaign Tracking report. Report detailing product (NII & NFI) revenue and associated volumes, client revenue and progress of campaigns launched by countries, which will help stakeholders strategize and have impactful meetings with Cash Clients
  • Be analytical in generating report to spot potentials: revenue leakages, waiver analysis for fee & interest pricing and support country request for data analysis. Collaborate with Global Payment Billing Team to generate report to identify potential revenue leakage, deal analyzer, PMI which included interest waiver.
  • Periodic circulation of Weekly/Monthly reports (as consented/agreed by central product team) to Group TB, TB Sales, Segment Heads, OCC for their onward action in partnership with Country Product and Sales teams for their consumption and usage, with a view to improve Country performance and facilitate client discussions.
  • MIS dashboards supporting stakeholders (Group / Region & Country) ability to act on and guide prioritization of efforts against scorecard deliverables such as OPAC and Liability drives, Revenue leakage plugs and attrition dashboards. These are reported as part of overall revenue scorecards .
  • To produce local country operation details of charge to be charged based on conditional pricing, structures
  • Client level performance monitoring, Globally through 'Cash Client Performance View Dashboard' and communicate to respective RMs/ TBs.
  • Coordinate the implementation of identified NFI leakages from committed business, fee leakage plug by coordinating for its rectification with stakeholders
  • Coordinate implementation of new pricing points & client re-pricing by working with country and business analyst to bed down requirement in order to setup new business rules can be created.
  • To assist in performing UAT, Execute and track identified pricing & billing opportunities in conjunction with countries.
  • Maintain all the records centrally for all clients pricing into a single system.
  • High capability to manage huge data workload via SAS Enterprise Application to identify trends and opportunities in huge volume of data, and able to build predictive models with the application
  • SAS Enterprise Technicality required: Advanced analytics, , , , , data cleansing, decision tree analysis, and data mining
  • Superior knowledge of MS Access, MS Excel, and MS Power Point. Good ability to transpose analysis into simple and effective presentations.
  • Ability to communicate complex analytical concepts to non-technical senior management.
  • A good self starter and always ready to suggest new insights. Have good problem solving skills and have strong technological orientation.
  • Wholesale Banking Cash product knowledge is a plus.
  • Establish and maintain close working relationship with appropriate persons in the Spoke countries, Group offices and within the Company itself to facilitate an open and direct communication of issues, needs, queries, etc. such that these may be responded to in an efficient, prompt and professional manner.
  • Be guided accordingly and aware of the roles and responsibilities for money laundering prevention as stipulated in the Money Laundering Prevention (MLP) Group Policy, Money Laundering & Suspicious Transaction Guidelines for Cash & Channel Management, Suspicious Money Laundering Transaction Reporting Procedures and / or Monitoring Checklist, and Escalation Procedure for Suspicious Money Laundering Transactions.
  • Ensure due care and diligence is exercised on day to day operational matters relating to Money Laundering, related Sanctions Check (if applicable) and KYC, acquiring relevant knowledge and training; thus, providing support to superiors and subordinates.
  • Facilitate the building of a performance-driven organization by setting SMART objectives, constantly reviewing the department's and individual performance against these objectives and providing the appropriate support, motivation and guidance to staff to achieve these objectives.
  • Contribute towards the future strategic direction and process innovation of Analytics by keeping abreast of changes in customer/Group needs, technology and business environment and taking pro-active steps to embrace and capitalize on these changes.
  • Any ad-hoc roles changes will require Head of Department or Manager's approval before assuming new role temporarily or permanently in line with segregation of duties.
