Direct and Indirect Taxes:
• Expert knowledge and experience handling both direct and indirect taxes
• Ensure direct tax compliance, reporting, and ensure timely filing of quarterly and annual TDS, TCS and tax returns.
• Reconcile with online returns with our records
• Attend IT hearings and submission of information for IT assessments and notices issued by the department.
• Well versed with the operation of IT and GST portals
• Keep abreast of amendment in IT laws from time to time and to liaise with tax authorities and provide tax audit support
• Review current and deferred tax provision
• Advise senior management for effective tax planning
• Ensure direct tax compliance, reporting and ensure timely filing of monthly quarterly and annual GST and other applicable indirect tax returns
• Reply to the notices issued by the department
• Reconciliation of TDS and GST with financial records
• Ensure claim of TDS both in case of IT and GST
• Advice regarding eligibility of GST claims and ensure all eligible input tax credits are taken
• Periodic MIS on Taxes for effective monitoring.
• Handling statutory, internal and tax audits
Reporting:
• Overseeing all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with appropriate INDAS standards and regulatory requirements;
• Maintaining internal control and safeguards for receipt of revenue, costs, and programme budgets and actual expenditures;
• Coordinating all audit activity including internal, statutory and cost audit;
• Consistently review of financial data including periodical scrutiny of general ledgers and coordinate with AP and AR and other related modules
• Preparation of monthly accounts, cash flow and other financial statements and reports in an accurate and timely manner;
• Ensure timely preparation of quarterly, half yearly and annual financial statements; monitor progress, changes and keep the senior management informed of any changes in the accounting standards;
• Assisting leadership in the annual budgeting and planning process; administering and reviewing all financial plans and comparing to actual results with a view to identifying, explaining and correcting variances as appropriate;
• Submission of information for Board and Audit committee meetings in time.
• Preparation of daily, monthly and annual cash flow projections in coordination with departmental heads;
• Establish finance and administrative systems to support programme operations;
• Preparation and maintenance of fixed assets register;
• Reply to internal audit reports;
Candidates from any Manufacturing industry(Preferred) General: Knowledge and hands on experience in working of ERP, preferably SAP Environment
Skills: "Taxation", "Direct Tax", "indirect tax"
Experience: 3.00-6.00 Years
Education: Chartered Accountancy (C.A)
