Up to £80K + Bonus + Benefits

Kerr Recruitment is operating on behalf of our client, an international technology company, is seeking to appoint a French speaking Financial Reporting Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for the Reporting and Cash & Bank teams within the Centralised Back Office.

Working hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. Additional hours might be required.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Accountable for meeting and prioritising own targets/deadlines
Being the main subject matter expert on Cognos and the go-to contact for queries
Being a subject matter expert on our month-end board packs and the details within
Running weekly calls with the operation finance teams to review numbers as well as tackle any open issues
Managing the indirect taxes operational process by ensuring the team run the indirect tax returns monthly in SAPbyDesign
Ensuring that all SOP's, risk matrix and process maps are updated for the respective process under their control
Foster relationships across the business to ensure that the team gets the appropriate attention
Designing and implementing operational changes and provide associated user impact assessment
Reviewing resources to ensure they are being used efficiently, and identify areas for both process improvement and process automation
Being a leader within the CBO team, always setting an example and assisting when needed
Running the month-end process and ensure teams across the business stick to the timelines
Optimising business processes and projects
Enhancing stakeholder engagement and demonstrating company values

Ideal candidate would have:

Must be fluent in French and English (verbal and written).
Extraordinary experience working in an accounting role
Experience managing a team in a multi-national company
ACA, ACCA or CIMA certifications qualified
Experience working in a large organisation/public listed organisation
Experience consolidating multi-currency groups and of using Cognos system
Advanced Excel user
