This senior level Finance role is a new key role within McCurrach.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced accountant to join us. You will be responsible for a number of key financial metrics and corporate areas including our banking facilities and cash strategy. It has an important external facing element and you will be managing relationships with and influencing key stakeholders including banks and investors.

What are the key responsibilities?

* Ownership of the end to end compliance and reporting processes for our banks and investors

* Cash flow and balance sheet forecasting, modelling, reporting and certifying of our financial covenants

* Identifying and taking proactive mitigating actions where required

* Ensuring ongoing compliance with related legal documents, identifying and seeking consents in advance where required

* Devising cash management strategies to manage our long-term cash objectives

* Creation, ownership and ongoing running of a streamlined end to end process for cash management

* Responsibility for the closed Final Salary Pension Scheme compliance and funding, including delivering its long-term strategy and funding requirements and liaising and negotiating with the scheme trustee

* Contributing to key finance department priorities

* Company secretarial matters for all group companies

Who are we looking for?

* A qualified chartered or certified accountant with a minimum of 5 years post qualified experience in a commercial environment

* Experience of managing end to end compliance with banking covenants

* Knowledge of devising cash management strategies to manage our long-term cash objectives

* Advanced computer skills in particular Excel, where identifying, creating, modelling complex and robust forecasts and scenarios is essential

* Exceptional attention to detail but also demonstration of stepping back and assessing bigger picture

* Passionate about making a contribution to business success, and being pro-active in driving change to support business efficiencies and innovations
