Our client is a leading provider of fibre optic products, delivering a complete, integrated solution to installations worldwide for the telecommunication industry.

Due to rapid growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join the team based at the Lowestoft office.

Duties will include:

* Familiar with NEC3 (pref. BoQ's)

* Working knowledge of tax (VAT and CIS)

* Excel advanced user

* Conscientious, diligent and measured approach

* Advanced knowledge contract law

* Able to place contracts for subcontractors

* CEMAR or other contract management software user

* Willing to work weekends as necessary

* NRSWA units 1,2, 10-15

* Utilities experience

This is a full time, permanent role offering a salary in the range of £25,000 - £32,000 per annum.
