Finance Assistant
Hinckley
£18,000 - £21,000
SF Recruitment are delighted to be working alongside a market leading business in Hinckley. Our client is seeking a Finance Assistant to join the business on a full time permanent basis. Our client is seeking a Finance Assistant to work closely with the Finance Manager & assist with the day to day transactional finance duties. The successful Finance Assistant will have experience working within a similar position.
Duties of the Finance Assistant will include:
- Processing credit card receipts & monthly credit card statement
- Processing monthly fuel & mileage sheets
- Credit control - Ensuring debtors pay on time
- Maintain Purchase Ledger
- Assist with Sales Ledger
- Calculating purchase and sales day books
- Monthly reconciliation
- Undertaking administration tasks such as typing, filing, making phone calls, handling mail and basic bookkeeping
- Liaising with other staff to provide support with activities.
The Finance Assistant is expected to be professional, punctual, methodical and organised. The successful Finance Assistant will be a good team player, be computer literate, excellent with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and Outlook. Good working knowledge of Sage is advantageous. On site parking is available a long with an excellent office & working environment.
