Michael Page are partnering with a large technology company based in Maidenhead on a EMEA Accountant role. This is a french accountant position working on a number of EMEA entities including French entities to carry out Month End activities.

Michael Page are partnering with a large technology company that have their EMEA HQ based in Maidenhead, due to excellent organic business growth, our client are expanding and looking to hire an experienced french speaking EMEA Accountant to specifically look after a number of French entities along with other countries. Our client is looking for a candidate that wants to progress their career to the next level and are offering a large amount of progression within the role. The EMEA controller is keen to be a mentor to the successful applicant.

Description

As an financial accountant - French speaking, you will manage the French entities and will ensure month end is completed on time, invoicing customers is done correctly and managing the outstanding receivables, balance sheet and bank reconciliations, you will also get involved with ad-hoc projects. A large part of the role is to manage the local payroll for each entity due to the complexities of the French payroll. It would be advantageous if you have up to date US experience as you will be managing relationships in the US.

Profile

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with the aspirations to progress throughout the organisation. You will be french speaking and have a strong EMEA finance background. A strong knowledge of French GAAP and French Payroll would be advantageous.

Job Offer

On offer for the successful candidate is a salary of £50,000 - £60,000 dependant on experience and this will also include a strong benefits package including a bonus, strong pension and defined soft benefits.
