Job Description
Manages monthly APAC closing activities and preparing related journal entries and reconciliations. Be the first point of contact for supporting end-to-end accounting activities within APAC countries. Prepares monthly financial reports for stakeholders and analyze business performance on a regular basis. Liaising with internal/external auditors and external consultants for various audit and compliance process. Provides financial information and reports for regional operational and business review on a quarterly basis. Manages potential risks in all areas of accounting and compliance and act as a trusted business advisors to the business. Continuous improvement in all related areas including financial and compliance processes. Support ad-hoc assignments related to all areas of accounting.
Basic Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance with minimum of 2-4 years working experience, preferably from Big 4 accounting firms. Passionate in bringing transformation to the accounting activities and drive continuous process improvements in all related areas. Must be a self-starter who is able to work independently and interface with all relevant internal teams and external business partners at all times. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact clearly across all level of organization. Strong analytical, comprehension and problem solving skills, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to conceptualize. Diligent, attention to detail, ability to manage time and work flow, work on multiple assignments and manage rapidly changing assignments in a team environment.
