The client, is a retail company, based in South West London (South Kensington), that specialise in premium skincare and makeup. They are a growing business with brilliant and extremely popular products. The company is looking for a Finance Assistant to join the team on a permanent basis. The role will originally be based remotely, until they return to the office.

Client Details

The client is a rapidly growing retail business that specifically manufacture premium skincare and makeup. They have a UK and a French subsidiary, and they are looking for someone to join the team as a Finance Assistant. The role is permanent and based in South West London (South Kensington). The successful candidate will start of managing the Accounts Payable function for the UK and French companies, and once settled in the role, will progress quickly onto month-end preparation and analysis. The team is great to work with and is really welcoming.

Description

The successful Finance Assistant will be:

  • Managing the end-to-end Accounts Payable process for the UK and French companies
  • Processing of the vendor payments and invoices onto the system (NetSuite)
  • Processing of employee expenses
  • Liaising with the supply chain side of the business to help clear a backlog of invoices
  • Preparing the bi-monthly payment runs
  • Cashflow queries
  • Business Partnering with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Financial accounting - support in month end journals & balance sheet reconciliations
  • Management accounting - support in sales & expense reporting and analysis
  • Support in payroll, VAT
  • Support in the implementation of a new ERP system (NetSuite)

Profile

The successful Finance Assistant will:

  • Have approximately 2+ years experience working on the Accounts Payable process
  • Confidence liaising with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Have previous experience working in an SME (desirable, not essential)
  • Have French language skills (desirable, not essential)
  • Have previous experience working on the system NetSuite (desirable, not essential)
  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Be confident
  • Be studying towards AAT, ACCA, or CIMA (desirable, not essential)
