Fantastic opportunity for a qualified Management Accountant to join a global logistic company based in Chelmsford. Great role for someone who enjoys working in a fast pacing and challenging environment. The successful candidate will work closely with members in the large finance team as well as other teams in the business.

Description
- Ensure monthly management accounts are produced accurately and in a timely manner
- Profit & loss account
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Intercompany transactions with other Group companies worldwide
- Project accounting
- Work alongside the European Financial Controller on implementation, training and enhancements as well as preparing the weekly cash forecasts and cashbooks
- Working closely with Group Finance Director, Group Financial Controller, Business Unit Managers, FP&A Manager, Group Accountant, Senior Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Finance Assistants
- Managing and supervising the part qualified finance team members
Profile
The successful Management Accountant:
- Ability to prepare a full set of management accounts
- Previous exposure to project accounting
- Understanding of finance packages
- Engage with commercial, finance and operational teams to improve accuracy and quality of data for reporting and forecasting
- Experience managing a team
