An exciting Finance Manager job has just become available at one of the MNC engineering firms based in Petaling Jaya. Reporting to the Regional CFO, you will be a part of the dynamic team.

About the Finance Manager Role:
In this position, you will be responsible for financial reporting for three legal entities and overseeing a team of 15 people.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for the full spectrum of accounting functions, financial policies and procedures, budgeting and tax

Prepare the company's management accounts, and annual/bi-annual or quarterly budgets as required

Prepare monthly management report for the management and highlight the financial performance and financial position of the company

Prepare statutory accounts in compliance with statutory requirements, responsible for final and projected tax computation

Liaise with bankers, auditors, tax authorities and relevant government bodies

Establish and improve internal controls and systems

Management of collections and accounts receivables

Work together with all HODs (Head of Department) to achieve the monthly forecast. Highlight the department's shortfalls and provide recommendation to HODs for potential

Supervision of finance, collection, purchasing and warehousing team

Act as Compliance Manager to follow compliance guidelines and policies

To succeed in the Finance Manager role, you will need to have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Requirements:

University graduate and CPA/CIMA/ACCA/MIA/ICAEW qualification

Eight or more years of relevant experience in handling full set accounts and preferably with MNC exposure

Possesses high integrity, independent and analytical and communications skills together with a strong sense of responsibility

Proactive, fast learner, self motivated, performance driven and able to multitask

Proficient in Excel, Words and PowerPoint and experience in ERP system is preferred
