An exciting Finance Manager job has just become available at one of the public listed companies based in Petaling Jaya. Reporting to the CFO, you will be a part of the dynamic team.

About the Finance Manager Role:
In this position, you will be responsible for financial reporting and financial analysis, leading a team of 10 staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead compliance of MFRS, Bursa, SC and other regulatory requirements

Manage/establish the strict compliance of internal control policies and procedures

Supervise the accurate and timely preparation of monthly results and prepare quarterly board papers including preparation of the annual statutory accounts for the group and the entities

Meet all external reporting requirements of the group within set deadlines

Review inputs for monthly forecast and annual budgets

Lead the liaison with auditors, company secretary, lawyers and tax agents

Main liaison with statutory bodies and other related authorities

Lead the maintenance of record keeping in line with internal and external requirements

Work closely with financial planning and analysis team for cost savings

Interact actively with heads of departments or managers in providing finance-related advice

Continuously develop competencies of the finance team

To succeed in this Finance Manager role, you will need to have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Requirements:

Qualified accountant

External audit experience is preferred

Minimum of five years of relevant experience including leading a finance team

Possesses and displays a high level of integrity

Commitment to good governance

Good command of English - written and verbal

Has a natural attention to detail and accuracy

Energetic, insightful with strong influencing traits and a good team player

Able to handle pressure and work independently

Able to multitask and prioritise
