We are partnering with a Logistics, Distribution and Supply Chain business on the outskirts of Milton Keynes. Am exciting opportunity for an experienced Payroll Assistant to come in and join the team.
Description
Payroll Officer Responsibilities:
- Processing starters and leavers
- Processing tax codes changes, student loans and other HMRC notifications
- Processing statutory payments and variations to payslips
- Producing the final Payroll report for review by Payroll Manager prior to submission
- Liaising with Payroll Manager to ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation
- Managing the auto-enrolment communication via pension system, where necessary
- Production and submission of monthly reports to HMRC regarding Payroll
- Producing of P11Ds
- Assisting the Payroll Manager in reviewing current systems to ensure they are fit for purpose
Profile
Payroll Officer Requirements:
- 1/2yrs Payroll experience
- Ability to process Gross to Net manual calculations
- Have end to end experience of Payroll
- Be well versed on statutory payments (SSP, SMP, SPP)and other UK Legislation
- Be well organised and meticulous in nature
- MS Office Proficiency incl Outlook, Excel & Word
