Our client is looking to recruit a Finance Manager for an initial period of 6 months

Our client is a leading Logisitics business

Description

The role will entail but won't be exclusive to:

- Closely manage the cost base by leading an agenda of accounting support, adequate financial controls, alongside asset and budget management and interim forecasting

- Establish a culture of continuous improvement by challenging existing working practices liaising closely with other Departmental Heads to achieve improved performance

- Production of weekly and monthly management accounts

- Responsibility of clean auditable balance sheets

- Assessing and maximising the return on investment and impact post implementation of any change/project/key initiative and driving any further change that may be needed through the management team

Profile

The successful candidate requires as a minimum:

- Qualified Accountant

- Experience working for a Logistics company

- Experience in a costing environment would be beneficial

- Access to their own vehicle as there is an expectation to be in the Covid-Secure office

Due to the urgent nature of the role only immediately available candidate or those with short notice periods will be considered
