Finance Analyst - Insurance - London - 6 Month Contract

Your new company
I am working with one of the worlds leading insurance company's who provide insurance and reinsurance both in the UK and internationally. Based in their UK office you will be part of a large complex finance function operating across a number of lines of business.

Your new role
This role sits within the FP&A team but works closely the reporting team and the business partners. You will be taking the monthly and quarterly results from the accounting team, adding commentary and presenting to both internal and external stakeholders. You will need to ensure all of the reporting is done on time and work closely with the regulatory, syndicate and tax teams to do so.

What you'll need to succeed
Please only apply if you are a qualified accountant from insurance. This is essential and we cannot consider you outside of this. You will need to understand the numbers and be able to challenge the reporting team to ensure it is accurate, but also have a good understanding of the business to provide commercial insight. This will suit somebody who is a great relationship builder and somebody who isn't afraid to push back and challenge stakeholders in the business. It's a really varied role so requires somebody who enjoys working in a fast paced environment.

You will be in a varied role where you can utilise your technical skillset while adding value to the business. You will be on a daily rate of £350-£450/day depending on experience. The role is 6 months initially and majority of that is likely to be working remotely, and then flexible working when back in the office.
