Responsibilities:

• Perform risk management by analyzing the organization’s liabilities and investments
• Assist with high-level decisions about policy and strategy.
• Oversee the company’s fiscal activity, including budgeting, reporting, and auditing.
• Assure legal and regulatory documents are filed and monitor compliance with laws and regulations.
• Decide on investment strategies by considering cash and liquidity risks
• Control and evaluate the organization’s fundraising plans and capital structure
• Ensure cash flow is appropriate for the organization’s operations
• Identify and address financial risks and opportunities for the company.
• Supervise financial reporting and budgeting team.
• Review financial reports for ways to reduce costs.
• Work well with Chief Marketing Officer, CEO, and COO to develop the strategic plan.

Requirements:

• CIMA qualified
• Certified Public Accountant certification would be a plus.
• Experience in a senior management position of up to 10 years and prior experience of working as a company secretary will be preferred.
• Ability to Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software (e.g. SAP)
• Solid GAAP and financial reporting technical skills.
• Experience with corporate governance.
• Proven negotiation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, plan personal workload effectively and delegate.
